Hailing from the realm Ysera, Gwystyl is the name of the rogue you see above. I have to say that this rivals my earlier shaman drawing as my personal best. I think the overall finish of the Shaman's gear was cleaner. However, this was more difficult due to the mere fact that Warglaives are a bitch to color.
The background seems more detailed than my usual, but I cheated on the image of Azeroth in the sky. I was able to get a solid screencap out of WoW Model Viewer to utilize in my background. The rest of the sky is done by hand as well as a poor attempt to give the viewer the feeling that the setting is in Black Temple where Illidan stands at the very top. Blah blah, I won't pester you with little nit-pickings that annoy me, so I will stop there. Sketched on paper and scanned. Outlined and colored in Photoshop CS. Time to sketch and outline: ~10 hours Time to color: I don't even remember anymore.
