WoW: Love is in the Air 2009
So I felt inspired to make this comic after my boyfriend put the idea in my head.
If you're not familiar with WoW, the game is riddled with a new Achievement system that currently awards players special titles or items. Each of seven World Events award players a title. The Valentine's title being "The Love Fool." Anyway, to sum things up in a nutshell, most achievements are useless. (I did complete one that gave me a flying mount which moves faster than most, so that was not a useless achievement)
Anyway, one of the achievements "Fistful of Love" is to throw rose petals over a list of specific class and race combinations. Ten in total. In the end, a Troll Rogue was near IMPOSSIBLE to find. My guildmates, my boyfriend (who is now on a different realm than I am), and myself were having ridiculous trouble finding one. Thus, my boyfriend brought this idea up to me, and it amused me enough that I felt like drawing it.
Troll resemblances are completely coincidental (I just randomly picked settings in WoW Model Viewer). The hunter is Riziya, my boyfriend.
